Our Stallions
We are currently using two stallions over our different mares. A small stallion, Fairlight Acres Play Toy is used to breed leading rein ponies. Play Toy was very successful in the showring as a youngster and on the odd occassion when he is taken out he rarely comes home without a broad ribbon. His progeny at Filou Lane are just starting to be prepared under saddle and we look forward to Filou Lane Tiny Dancer making her saddle debut in 2009 with Alex (5 years) on board.
Fairlight Acres Aristocrat is a 13.2 hand stallion being used over our larger mares. His first crop of foals will arrived in 2007 with his filly Filou Lane September Rain winning Champion Australian Filly at the 2008 APSB Victorian Foal Show and Aristocrat taking out the Sires Award for the Most Successful sire at the show. In 2009, he again won the Sires Award and another of his fillies, Filou Lane Royalty was awarded Champion 3rd Generation Australian and his colt Filou Lane Rainman was Reserve Champion Australian Colt.

We allow Toy to "paddock serve" all mares and he runs with the mares
and foals throughout the year.
If you are looking for the perfect temperament, you cannot go past
this pony.
In February 2006, we took Toy to Rochester Agricultural Show after a
break from the show ring of about 5 years. He spent the day on
the arena with every other horse around him. At one point, a
small child had stopped their mare directly in front of him with not
a peep.
They don't come better than this and he passes this lovely easy going nature along to his progeny.

We allow Aristocrat or 'Aka' to "paddock serve" all mares and he runs with
the mares and foals throughout the year.
Aristocrat was destined for a saddle pony until he was injured in
the paddock as a yearling. At that point, the decision was
made to keep him a colt.
He has covered 3 mares in 2006 and we eagerly await their arrival in
2007.
